Olympics: Singapore table tennis team flies home on Friday

A warm reception is expected for Singapore's table tennis team which won two medals at the Olympics, one team bronze and one women's singles bronze, when they arrive home on Friday. They are on SQ321 which is scheduled to arrive at Changi Airport, Terminal 3, at 5.55pm.

On Saturday, women and men's captains Feng Tianwei and Gao Ning, will then lead the team on a victory parade from Toa Payoh to Tampines to meet and greet fans.

Aboard an open-top bus, the team will depart from their headquarters at Toa Payoh to make pitstops at Blk 846 Yishun Ring Road, Jurong Point, Plaza Singapura, and Tampines West Community Club.

At their final stop at Tampines at 2.30pm, members of the public will have a chance to play against the Olympians and receive their autographs.
