Ask The Experts #1: On Arsenal, Liverpool and using two referees
You send in your questions, and we will have them answered, thanks to the panel of football experts from ESPN FC!
This week, the pundits debate on three questions:
1) Whether it is feasible to have two referees in a match. With modern football getting ever more fast-paced, and referee decisions coming under constant scrutiny by football fans, can one referee cope with the pressure of giving the right call all the time? Or would it be better to have another referee help out on the pitch?
2) Liverpool are the early league leaders of the EPL, with three wins and one draw. Brendan Rodgers' side were not fancied to make the top four spot at the end of the season, but their good early-season form has certainly got people wondering: Do they have what it takes to earn a Champions League spot next season?
3) Arsenal made one of the biggest deadline-day signings this season, acquiring German midfielder Mesut Oezil from Real Madrid. Already, Oezil has provided one assist in his first EPL match for the Gunners. Can he lead the Gunners to a top three finish?
