Lions' Suzuki Cup preparations end on high note

The Singapore national football team ended their Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup preparations with a 4-0 win over Pakistan at the Jurong West Stadium on Monday evening.

Goals from Shi Jiayi (second minute), Khairul Amri (30th), Shahril Ishak (77th) and Aleksandar Duric (88th) gave the Lions their first win in three friendly outings.

Raddy Avramovic's side will leave for Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, ahead of their tournament opener against co-hosts and defending champions Malaysia.

Indonesia and Laos are the other teams in Group B.
