Singapore and the Philippines are locked at 0-0 after today's first leg of the Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup semi-final in Manila.

It was a flowing game of counter-attacking football, but clear chances were rare.

The Lions had the best of them in the 26th minute when Shahril Ishak stabbed wide after Aleksandar Duric's diagonal ball had left Azkals goalkeeper Eduard Sacapano stranded.

In the 79th minute, Singapore forward Khairul Amri was carried off with a twisted ankle.

The teams will play the second leg on Wednesday at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
