If you want an affordable Android Wear smartwatch that looks like a conventional watch, Asus ZenWatch 3 may be right up your street.
It features a classic watch design with its round stainless steel case and a circular 1.39-inch Amoled screen. The display, with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, it runs on a 340mAh battery that should last two days on a full charge.
The ZenWatch 3 comes with 512MB of system memory and 4GB of storage. It will be available in brown and beige.
2 Fitbit Charge 2
$228 (usual price $248)
This is the successor to Fitbit's critically acclaimed fitness tracker, Charge HR. The Charge 2 looks much sleeker with its silver metallic sides and an Oled monochrome screen four times larger than its predecessor.
Tap on this display to toggle through the various fitness statistics tracked by Charge 2, such as heart rate, steps taken, calories burnt and floors climbed .
The Charge 2 can also display notifications when paired with a smartphone, and track your running distance via your smartphone's GPS sensor.
3 Garmin vivosmart HR+
The Garmin Vivosmart HR+ is the fitness tracker that seeks to track them all. It measures steps, distance travelled, calories burnt, floors climbed, activity intensity and heart rate. In addition, it has built-in GPS to track distance and pace when you are out running.
The wristband tracker features a 0.42-inch always-on E-ink display that is said to be readable even under bright sunlight.
It is also waterproof down to 50m, so you can shower and even swim with it.
4 Samsung Gear S3
Samsung Gear S3 can be easily mistaken for a classic timepiece. The Tizen-based smartwatch is available in two versions - frontier and classic.
The Frontier (picture) has a more rugged look for the outdoors, while the Classic model has a minimalist and elegant styling for office wear.
Both feature the same processor and 1.3-inch Super Amoled Always-On display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ and both support Samsung Pay. Both offer 1.5GB of system memory and 4GB of internal storage.
They are dust resistant and water resistant to 1.5m for 30min.
5 Tomtom Touch

The Tomtom Touch is the first wristband fitness tracker available here that can measure your body fat and muscle mass percentage with a simple touch of a button, according to its maker.
It also tracks your daily physical activities, such as steps taken, calories burned, distance walked and how you sleep.
In addition, the Touch's built-in monitor tracks your heart rate throughout the day. Its touchscreen display shows notifications, such as incoming calls, when paired with your smartphone.
