SINGAPORE - TomTom has launched its new fitness tracker, Touch. Its maker said it is the first fitness tracker in Singapore able to measure your body fat and muscle mass percentage.

Launched back in September this year at Berlin's IFA 2016 consumer tech show, the Touch is a wristband fitness tracker that tracks your daily physical activities, such as steps taken, calories burned, distance walked and sleep.

But unlike other fitness trackers in the market, the Touch measures your body fat and muscle mass percentage right from your wrist with a simple touch of a button. This way, you can track how your body's composition changes over time to understand how fit you are.

It it also able to track your heart rate throughout the day, with its built-in heart rate monitor.

You can also use its Sports mode to monitor your workouts, such as runs and walks.

The Touch has a touchscreen display that display notifications - such as incoming calls - when paired with your smartphone (on both the Android and iOS platforms).

The TomTom Touch will be available from November at $239.
