SINGAPORE - Generous 12GB mobile data plans are back again, with StarHub bundling the plan with a 1Gbps fibre broadband subscription for just $96.56 a month.
This is about one-third of the combined costs of the two plans when bought separately. Its mobile subscription that comes with a 12GB data allowance costs $220 a month, and the 1Gbps fibre broadband plan, $49.90 a month.
The SurfHub bundled deal - offering at least 12GB of mobile data and a default 1Gbps fibre broadband connection at home - is for heavy users who watch movies on the go.
"We know that customers miss the freedom that huge data bundles offer and wish they were as affordable as before," said Ms Wang Li-Na, head of Product & Marketing at StarHub. "Faster 4G technologies have catalysed the adoption of data-intensive services, and our customers are now sharing more and watching for longer on their smartphones."
