Since becoming the editor of The Straits Times Digital in July this year, I have witnessed many changes in the way we deliver the news to you, our readers.
Among the changes, which included our move to the broadsheet format and a renewed focus on start-ups, is a new name for our awards to recognise the best gadgets and games of the year.
The Digital Life Awards is now The Straits Times Digital Awards. It will be back next year, with an awards ceremony in February.
In this edition, we added two new categories - smartwatches and fitness trackers - to capture new segments that are tugging strongly at consumers' hearts and wallets.
We also have StarHub, a category sponsor in 2015, as our presenting sponsor for 2016.
As in previous years, we will pick the winners for the Editor's Choice awards, while your votes will decide the Readers' Choice awards.
Cast your votes for your favourite tech products at http://str.sg/digitalawards2016 and stand a chance to win prizes worth more than $25,000.
Start voting now and stand to win the many attractive prizes. Voting closes on Jan 20, 2016, at 11.59pm.
