The Sony CP-V10A Portable Charger has a 10,000mAh lithium-ion battery that uses Sony's Hybrid Gel Technology, which is supposed to retain 90 per cent charge even after 1,000 recharges.
Its white plastic housing has a curved rear with a matte front. On its top, you will find the power button, four-LED battery indicator, a micro-USB charging port and only one 1.5A USB output.
At 17.5mm thick and smaller than my iPhone 6s Plus, it is much easier, compared with the others here, to hold it together with my iPhone. Furthermore, the power bank is quite lightweight, and its matte front will not scratch my iPhone 6s Plus.
On the downside, it took the longest time in this round-up - 1hr 46min - to charge my iPhone from 50 per cent battery level to full.
In addition, it is not exactly cheap at $89. Especially when you look at Xiaomi's price tag.
•Verdict: If you think dual USB ports are an overkill, you might want to check the Sony CP-V10A out for its simplicity and light weight.
