If you hate laundry days, the LG Styler could be the wardrobe for you.

The $2,999 wardrobe, to be launched in June, gently steams and shakes clothes that are put inside it.

LG said the steaming process eliminates more than 99.9 per cent of germs, and the shaking removes wrinkles.

At a media event on Wednesday (May 4), LG announced the machine, as well a new range of refrigerators and washing machines.

For more stubborn stains that the Styler cannot handle, there is the LG Twin Wash.

The Twin Wash combines a main 21kg washer with a smaller 3.5kg washer tucked away at the base of the machine.

They can be run separately or simultaneously, and can be set to two different wash cycles.

The Twin Wash is ideal for washing smaller loads, or delicate items such as lingerie and baby clothes.

It will also be released in June, but the price is to be determined.

At the event, LG also announced the Veyron 6 series of refrigerators, which each have more than 600 litres of storage capacity.
