Sneak peek at latest Civilization VI game for 10 lucky Straits Times readers

SINGAPORE - Calling all would-be emperors, world leaders and conquerors - those eager to sink a few more hundred hours into the Civilization turn-based strategy computer game series can get a sneak peek of the latest version, Civilization VI (Civ VI), on Friday (Oct 14).

Straits Times readers will get the chance to play the game this Friday night ahead of its launch on Oct 21 at the office of its publisher, 2KGames, in Singapore.

To enter, simply go to the Straits Times Digital Facebook page and leave a comment on the Civ VI preview post on why you think you should be chosen for the game's sneak preview.

The 10 best answers will be selected to attend the event on Friday from 7pm to 10pm, where the winners will be the among the first here to experience a whole new Civ game.

Civ VI retains the core empire-building and global domination of the franchise, but with new features like dedicated districts in your cities and a whole new tech tree. It was voted the Best PC Game and Best Strategy Game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year.

The 10 lucky readers attending the preview will also each receive a goodie bag containing Civilization-related merchandise, such as a T-shirt, notepad, mousepad and pen.
