RAZER BLADE STEALTH

From $1,499

The Razer Blade Stealth is the ultimate ultrabook, with ample specs at a very competitive price. Its aluminium chassis is 13mm thick and it weighs just 1.29kg. Still, despite its svelte body, it manages to pack in up to 9hr of battery life - 15 per cent more than the previous generation. The Razer Blade Stealth's 12.5-inch display comes in two configurations: Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels, 234 ppi) and 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels, 352 ppi).

It has an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, which gives it up to 2.7GHz of processing power and Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.5GHz. It also has Intel HD Graphics 620 integrated graphics. The ultrabook also comes with up to 1TB of solid-state storage, and up to 16GB of RAM.

•ST Digital's Pick: The Razer Blade Stealth is a value-for-money ultrabook with a slim chassis and up to nine hours of battery life.

CASIO G-SHOCK G-STEEL

From $349

Casio's G-Steel series combines the ruggedness that we have come to expect from a G-Shock watch with the elegance of a metal timepiece.

All Casio G-Steel bezels are designed with what Casio calls a "layered guard structure" - a layer of tough, shock-absorbent resin under a layer of metal - for the ultimate durability.

While the G-Steel series features some classic, all-silver designs, the watches are also available in trendy colour combinations like a black strap with a blue face, or a silver watch with red accents.

The watches not only look good but they are also functional. The watches come with digital and analogue time displays, and two LED light sources to illuminate the watch face for easy reading in the dark.

ERGODOX EZ KEYBOARD

US$240 (S$342) - available at www.ergodox-ez.com

Our hands tilt slightly inwards when they rest naturally, so why do we force them to straighten out when we type?

The ErgoDox EZ keyboard is designed to adapt to our body's needs, instead of the other way round.

It splits a traditional keyboard into two halves that can be arranged any way you like. The two halves can even be mounted on the arms of a chair.

The keyboard can also be paired with a Tilt/Tent kit (US$30 or S$43), to change the angle of the boards on the table.

The ErgoDox EZ comes with a choice of seven key switches, and either blank or printed keycaps.

Beginners should opt for the printed version as it makes learning how to use the keyboard a lot easier.

PHILIPS SHAVER SERIES 9000 WET AND DRY ELECTRIC SHAVER

Price: $699

The Philips Shaver Series 9000 Wet and Dry Electric Shaver is Philips' most advanced shaver yet. It comes with three heads that flex in eight directions, to follow the contours of the face and neck for the closest shave.

The shaver, which can operate for up to 60min on a single battery charge, can be used under either wet or dry conditions, with three settings: Sensitive, Normal or Fast.

Among the accessories, the SmartClean holder cleans, lubricates, dries and chargers your shaver, so that it will be in tip-top condition every day, and the SmartClick Beard Styler attachment lets you choose from five settings for the perfect beard length.
