As I scrutinise the new phone launches that were unfolding (pardon the pun) in Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona this week, I cannot help but wonder if the latest 5G and foldable phones are what users really want.

Sure, 5G's electrifying speeds are something to look forward to as more people stream music and videos via Spotify and Netflix.
