Cricket: Pollard's century in vain as Australia win by five wickets

SYDNEY (AP) - Opener Shane Watson scored 76 to back up his century on return from injury two days ago to lead Australia to a five-wicket win over West Indies, spoiling Kieron Pollard's unbeaten 109 for the visitors at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday.

Australia scored 221-5 in 44.5 overs in reply to West Indies' 220 all out in 49.4 overs.

The win was Australia's fourth in a row in the five-match series. The final game is on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Pollard, who hit a towering six to get to 99, notched his century with a single on his next ball in the second-to-last over to complete his second one-day 100 against Australia.
