Apple co-founder says new Steve Jobs film 'wrong'
LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak said on Friday that a new film about the late Steve Jobs is factually "wrong", judging by a first clip from the movie that has been released.
Mr Wozniak, who quit Apple in 1987 after 12 years, said a scene depicted in an clip of the movie jOBS, premiering at the Sundance Film Festival later in the day, had no basis in reality.
"Not close... we never had such interaction and roles... I'm not even sure what it's getting at... personalities are very wrong although mine is closer," he told the tech blog Gizmodo.
"The ideas of computers affecting society did not come from Jobs. They inspired me and were widely spoken at the Homebrew Computer Club," he added, referring to a hobby group to which they belonged.
