Prams on buses: Safety comes before convenience
I AGREE that it is inconvenient for a mother to wake her sleeping baby and fold up the pram before boarding a bus ("Prams on buses: SBS should be more flexible" by Ms Nathierah Kunju; yesterday).
But if the baby were to be tossed out of the pram during the trip, it would be even worse.
Also, an unfolded pram obstructs the narrow passage on the bus and causes inconvenience to other passengers.
Safety should come before customer convenience.
