Let's not get carried away with online criticisms

I AM rather disappointed that people sometimes can get carried away when criticising the Government or the authorities.

I am referring to the recent blogs on the Action Information Management (Aim) saga. Some blogs present legitimate arguments on a matter of public interest, but others make baseless allegations against the Prime Minister that are uncalled for and mischievous.

I am not affiliated to any party; neither do I agree with all government policies. But having visited and worked in several countries around the world, including Asia, I can safely say that we should be proud that we have a leader who stands out from the rest, and a country that is free and safe.

Let us call a spade a spade and appreciate the type of freedom we have in this country, where many have thrived financially.
