Changi General Hospital ICU patients communicate with help of iPads
INTUBATED patients at Changi General Hospital's (CGH) intensive care units now have an easier way to communicate.
With a tap and a couple of swipes on the iPad, they can let nurses know when they are in pain, or if they need an extra blanket.
CGH is the first hospital here to introduce iPads as a communication tool in the surgical and medical ICU wards.
A total of 80 patients have used the iPads since it was rolled out in April this year.
