New home-grown F&B ventures to open next year
Despite a seemingly saturated restaurant scene and a not-so-rosy economic outlook, food and beverage businesses here are still busy opening new eateries.
A slew of new restaurants that include stand-alone eateries and ones at new malls and in new food enclaves, have flooded the scene over the last few months.
And restaurateurs will be opening more next year, undeterred by the constant manpower issues that have been plaguing the F&B industry.
Singaporeans will be glad to know that aside from ones by celebrity chefs Jamie Oliver and Mario Batali, most of the new F&B ventures for next year include eateries by home-grown entrepreneurs.
