Copy Bird Park's environmentally-friendly move
RECENTLY, we brought 45 children to visit Jurong Bird Park and Gardens by the Bay.
We were impressed that Jurong Bird Park has stopped issuing individual tickets for group booking in order to reduce paper usage - only one ticket was issued for 45 children.
They simply made a stamp on a child's hand for identification whenever one of the children needed to move in and out of the park.
When we visited Gardens by the Bay, our 45 children were issued a ticket each - it is such a waste of paper and printing costs.
We hope that the management of Gardens by the Bay will implement a more environmentally-friendly ticketing system.
