Crime and philosophy writers to headline 2013 Singapore Writers Festival
Two well-known British writers will headline next year's Singapore Writers Festival.
Philosopher A.C. Grayling and crime novelist Peter James are among the guest stars confirmed for the literary event, which festival director Paul Tan, 42, says is likely to be held in November 2013.
Grayling is is perhaps best known for the 2001 volume, The Meaning Of Things, about applying philosophy to everyday life, and for last year starting up a private university, the New College of the Humanities, which aims to rival Oxford.
James is the bestselling author of a series of novels featuring Brighton detective Roy Grace. The most recent, Not Dead Yet, is topping British bestseller lists.
