Raddy's ready respect

IT IS unfair to fault national coach Raddy Avramovic for not acknowledging the National Anthem with hand on heart ("Where's the respect?" by Mr Patrick Tan; Thursday).

Singapore's foreign coach showed respect enough by standing at attention. Keeping the hand on the chest is not a must, and not doing so does not constitute disrespect. Even ministers do not put their right hands over their hearts during the National Day Parade.
