Not leaving any S'porean behind in national conversation
THE Singapore Conversation is currently in full swing and taking place with groups of stakeholders. The conversation is important for the future of Singapore.
Having as many Singaporeans as possible engaged in the conversation is critical for its eventual acceptance by all.
With this in mind, in addition to the current group discussions that are taking place, we should have a one-hour weekly Singapore Conversation programme on our free-to-air television channels so these discussions can be shared with the rest of the citizens.
With this programme, those who have not taken part in the discussion sessions can get into the loop on the kind of issues raised and the views regarding them and, if need be, give their views too.
This must be a national exercise with as many of our citizens involved as possible, including members of the opposition parties.
Let us have a TV programme on the conversation so that no one is left out.
