More than 500 people from 31 Catholic churches here gathered at the Cathedral of Good Shepherd on Friday morning to commemorate the succession of Archbishop William Goh as the fourth head of the Catholic Church here.
It was Archbishop Goh's first mass service, after his official appointment in Singapore last week.
Speaking to The Straits Times, Archbishop Goh said: "I've never aspired to be a bishop... But this is where we need to have faith and trust in God, as He will unfold one's vocation in life."
