Dating vouchers on sale to encourage singles to widen social circle

From today, members of the public can buy dating cash vouchers as "gifts of love" for their single friends to use at events and services offered by dating agencies accredited by the Social Development Network (SDN) Trust.

These vouchers, available in $10 denominations, can be bought online on www.lovegifts.sg.

It is a move to get family and friends to play an active role in encouraging their single loved ones to widen their social circle.

A five-week Dating Fest will start from Dec 29, with activities such as a mass-speed dating Dinner and Dance. These initiatives were announced today by the SDN.
