3 Bedok markets closed in the same week for cleaning

YESTERDAY morning, I went to do some simple marketing at the hawker centre-cum-market at Block 58, New Upper Changi Road, in Bedok, but when I got there, I found the place closed for the whole week for cleaning.

I decided to go to the next nearest market, at Block 216, Bedok North Street 1, but it was also closed for a week of cleaning.

So, I then went to Block 538, Bedok North Street 3, but alas, that too was closed for a week of cleaning.

How can three nearby hawker centre-cum-markets be closed for cleaning at the same time?

Perhaps the town councils involved, or the Housing Board, can work to ensure that when one hawker centre-cum-market is closed, others nearby remain open.
