Fans will have their way at Chris Conley's gig
American singer-songwriter Chris Conley's solo acoustic set at Home Club on Dec 7 will be dictated by the audience.
The 32-year-old, best known as the frontman of emo-rock heroes Saves The Day, tells Life! in a telephone interview from California: "When I do acoustic shows, I tend to take requests the entire time. I'll play for as long as people come in and ask for stuff. In general, they're pretty fun shows and I like audience participation, so I tend to ask what people want to hear. It's spontaneous."
He is excited about playing his first gig in Singapore, especially since it is a double-bill with his good friend Anthony Raneri, best known as the frontman for New York punk band Bayside.
"I think it's going to be quite an adventure to go so far away from our homes together. For each of us, it's our first time visiting Singapore so it's going to be a lot of fun."
