Former Alldressedup designers launch new label

Singapore designer Sven Tan is set to launch his own label, In Good Company, next Friday after leaving well-known homegrown label Alldressedup in April this year. It comprises a womenswear range as well as kidswear line called Mini-me for girls aged between three and eight.

The 33-year-old, who was the principal designer at Alldressedup for the last eight years, co-founded the new company with three other former colleagues - designer Kane Tan and marketing merchandisers Julene Ow and Jaclyn Teo.

While the new start-up may raise questions regarding the future of one of Singapore's more high-profile fashion labels, Sven Tan maintains that the split is amicable.

He says that Alldressedup's owner, Mrs Tina Tan-Leo, has seen the collection "and gave us great feedback in terms of design and how to position the brand".
