Speed up roll-out of electric cars

WHY is the roll-out of electric vehicles here so slow ("Sales of diesel cars set to zoom"; last Wednesday)?

Diesel vehicles create pollution, to which electric cars fuelled by natural gas-generated electricity are the answer.

For four years, I have held off buying a car, waiting for a practical avenue to own electric vehicles here. I am still waiting.

Singapore should stop being a laggard and lead the world in transportation reform.
