Ferrari's Fernando Alonso hoping for a 'crazy race' in the rain
SAO PAULO (AFP) - Fernando Alonso admitted he needs a 'crazy race' if he is to beat the odds and land his third drivers world championship in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.
"We need some strange circumstances, we need a chaotic race in a way, rain or something, let's hope we see something like that," he said.
He described his eighth place on the grid for Sunday's season-ending showdown Brazilian Grand Prix gas "no surprise" and said he is confident he can finish on the podium.
The Ferrari driver needs to outscore defending champion German Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull by 14 points in the race to snatch the title.
