The irony of 'disappearing' litter bins
WHILE I applaud the decision to increase the fines for offenders who blatantly discard rubbish ("Littering will cost you $500"; Sunday), I wonder why litter bins appear to be scarcer.
For instance, two bins placed outside each of the entrances of Raffles Place MRT station have been removed. Are there enough bins in public spaces?
