Diana biographer injured in fatal S. Africa car crash
JOHANNESBURG (AFP) - Princess Diana's biographer Andrew Morton and his wife were badly hurt in a car crash near Kruger National Park, the authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
"On Friday evening, we were notified of a head on collision involving two cars," said Mr Joseph Mabuza, the spokesman for the Mpumalanga community safety department.
"The British couple were identified as Andrew Morton and his female companion. Both of them sustained injuries and were transferred to hospital."
Hospital officials identified the woman as his wife, Mrs Carolyn Morton.
