Restaurants filling up fast for Yuletide season

Those planning to dine out this Yuletide season will be glad to know that prices have, for the most part, remained comparable to last year.

Price increases, if any, hover at about five to six percent, which restaurants attribute to rising cost of ingredients, and inflation.

And if you have not made plans yet, you had better pick up that telephone because restaurants are filling up fast, especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

For example, Brasserie Les Saveurs at The St Regis Singapore in Tanglin Road is fully booked for its Christmas Day champagne lunch buffet. The festive brunch there is priced at $268++ a head.
