Man dead in road accident

A fatal accident occurred last night at the junction of Sembawang Road and Yishun Avenue 5.

The accident involved a motorcycle and a white Mazda. The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call for assistance at 9.31pm. A Malay man was  pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
