Stalker gets probation for molesting sleeping woman

HE followed her home, waited for her to fall asleep and then put his hand through the window panes facing the common corridor and touched the 34-year-old sales manager on the chest.

She woke up and screamed. Wan Weng Hong, 27, fled. This happened at 4.30am on Oct 16, 2010.

But the medical records clerk was unable to stay away. He returned at 3am on Dec 18 and put his hand into the window but was unable to touch her. He came back at 3am again on Feb 25, 2011. She saw him, called the police and he was arrested.

On Tuesday, he was sentenced to 15 months' probation and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service. He also agreed to attend treatment programmes designed for those who committed such offences.
