Man allegedly posed as CNB officer and molested teenager

A man was charged today with posing as a public servant and molesting a teenage girl.

Murlidharan Muhundan, 34, a sales executive, allegedly touched the breast of the 13-year-old girl at a flat in Bedok on Nov 15 last year.

He is also said to have posed as as Central Narcotics Bureau officer by showing a Singapore Civil Defence card to her and conducting a search of her that day.

He was given a week to engage a lawyer.
