MGS to undergo $15m revamp, includes building sports complex

 
 

Methodist Girls' School (MGS) plans to build a new sports complex and upgrade other school facilities such as its classrooms in a new $15 million project.

The sports complex will come with include new facilities such as two multi-purpose hard courts, a dance studio, band room, student care centre, 50m competition swimming pool, as well as tennis and squash courts.

Construction is expected to start next year and be completed by 2016.

Details of the plan was announced by MGS on Saturday night during a dinner event at the Ritz Carlton Millenia hotel to celebrate the school's 125th anniversary and to raise funds for the project.
