Winning RHB Singapore Cup crucial for coaches Bok and Tay

The younger man is a one-club warhorse who has won every accolade in the domestic league. His older opponent: an interim coach hunting for the first piece of silverware in his debut season.

The contrast between Singapore Armed Forces FC's Richard Bok and Tampines Rovers' Tay Peng Kee, who feature in tomorrow's RHB Singapore Cup final, is sharp, but the prize is equally crucial for both.

Pride is on the line for the 43-year-old Bok, who is Singapore's most successful club coach after winning four successive S-League titles from 2006 to 2009 and recording two Cup victories in 2007 and 2008.

After two trophyless seasons, the three-time S-League Coach of the Year will leave the club at the end of the season.
