Rap star 'Diddy' suffers multiple injuries in crash

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Hip-hop icon and fashion mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs suffered "multiple injuries" including to his neck and collarbone in a car crash in Beverly Hills, a spokesman for the star said on Thursday.

The 42-year-old was reported to have been left in pain after the accident on Wednesday involving his chauffeur-driven Cadillac Escalade outside the Beverly Hills hotel.

Pictures published by celebrity news website TMZ showed him lying on a grass verge after the crash, while police said he was not taken to hospital.

His publicists did not respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.
