Justin Timberlake: Making a movie is harder than making music
Justin Timberlake is putting his music career on the back-burner now to pursue his first love - acting - even though he knows this is a bit of a gamble.
"I think it goes without saying that I'm kind of courageous about choices," the 31-year-old says at a roundtable interview last month with Life! and other media at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, where he was paired with co-star Amy Adams to talk about his latest movie, Trouble With The Curve.
The acting roles have not been handed to him on a plate, either. He had to submit a video of himself doing an interpretation of a scene before he was considered for the current role of a baseball scout, starring alongside Clint Eastwood.
"For me, the courage comes from the fact that I don't feel like it's been a fast take-off," he says of his acting career. "I've put in a lot of studying and work behind the scenes."
