DNA test for baby claimed to be fathered by MediaCorp star

Actor Terence Cao took a Chinese woman and her baby daughter to a lawyer yesterday morning to arrange for a DNA test for the child, said Lianhe Zaobao today.

Asked for a comment, the 45-year-old said he was not yet ready to speak and asked for more time. Zaobao said he then turned to the 26-year-old woman, asking: "You happy now?"

The baby mama story broke yesterday, after the woman told Zaobao that she and her child had been abandoned by a male MediaCorp star.

Yesterday, she said she would soon go back to Shanghai and come back here one month later for the results of the DNA test.
