Wilshere back for Arsenal after injury nightmare
LONDON (AFP) - Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has finally ended his injury nightmare after being named in the Gunners' squad for Saturday's trip to Norwich.
Wilshere has been sidelined since the start of last season after struggling to recover from ankle and knee injuries, but the England star has played in several Under-21 matches for his club in recent weeks and has been declared fit to travel to Carrow Road this week.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had told journalists in his pre-match media briefing on Friday that Wilshere would most likely play in another under-21s game against Everton next week and then come into contention for the League Cup tie at Reading on October 30.
But Wilshere's agent Simon Bayliff confirmed the 20-year-old will be involved this weekend.
