SMC withdraws guilty verdict against aesthetic doctor Georgia Lee
THE Singapore Medical Council has decided to set aside the guilty verdict against aesthetic doctor Georgia Lee.
It said in a statement that its lawyers have applied to the High Court "to set aside the Disciplinary Committee's orders against Dr Lee in view of the High Court's decision in Dr Low's case".
In December last year, the medical watchdog found Dr Low Chai Ling and Dr Lee guilty of professional misconduct. Dr Low appealed to the High Court against the verdict, while Dr Lee appealed against having to pay the cost of the hearing.
Last month, the court of three judges, in a writted decision, threw out the SMC's guilty verdict against Dr Low.
