Iraq FA owes Zico four months' pay

SAO PAULO (AP) - Iraq coach Zico says he is owed four months' pay by the team's football federation.

The former Brazil star says he is disappointed by the "lack of consideration" for his work.

He told the Brazilian sports daily Lance on Wednesday that the federation started delaying his payments last October.

Zico said the federation apparently has not been able to make the payments because of "a problem with Fifa". He said his assistants also had not received their salaries regularly.
