A form teacher gives a student a 'Fair' grade for conduct, but the parents are unhappy because it means the child cannot obtain Edusave. So they pressure the principal to change the grade to ‘Good’ instead.
There is a new term for this sort of parent - it is called the “ugly Singaporean parent”. Defined as demanding, unreasonable and self-righteous, the ugly Singaporean parent has an overbearing sense of entitlement and is overprotective of his/her kids.
