Quincy Jones' daughter pulls strings to make movie
Actress Rashida Jones knows just about everyone in Hollywood.
The scion of music producer Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton, she was raised in Bel Air and rubbed shoulders with entertainment-industry types all her life - the sort of thing that comes in awfully handy if you want to make your own movie someday.
But the Harvard-educated and multi-talented Jones - who is also a published writer, a professional singer and a spokesmodel for Dove - has always been greater than the sum of her connections.
And even with an address book as thick as the one she has, she had to fight tooth and nail to make her new film, Celeste & Jesse Forever, about a couple (she is paired with Andy Samberg) who find it hard to let go post-breakup.
