Another cyclist has been struck down and is now in a coma at a hospital.

The victim is an 11-year-old boy who was cycling in MacPherson when he collided with a lorry at around 3.45pm at the junction of Balam Road and Circuit Road.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the boy suffered head injuries and was sent to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) after the accident on Tuesday.

On Wednesday night, the boy’s mother said her son was still in a coma.
