Singapore table tennis chief Lee Bee Wah secures re-election
Nee Soon GRC MP Lee Bee Wah will lead the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) until at least 2014.
Ms Lee, who has been in office since 2008, was re-elected for a third two-year term at the association's Biennial General Meeting on Saturday.
During her time as STTA president, Singapore's table tennis women won one silver medal at the 2008 Olympics, defeated China to win the 2010 World Team Championships, and secured two bronze medals at the recent London Olympics.
Chua Chu Kang GRC MP Low Yen Ling was introduced as one of four new faces during the meeting, and will take on the role of deputy president.
