Car turns into a flaming wreck in 1am crash

A car driven by a young man who was later arrested for drink driving burst into flames reaching 2m high after it was involved in a collision with a lorry, which caused another crash involving a taxi.

The driver and his three passengers jumped out of the vehicle before it exploded into a ball of fire.

One of the rear passengers, a 27-year-old man, complained of chest pains and was hospitalised.

The three-vehicle collision happened at about 1am on Sunday along Tampines Avenue 9, reported Shin Min Daily News.
