SSO: HAN-NA CHANG

South Korean cellist Han-Na Chang, who shot to fame at the age of 11 after winning the 1994 Rostropovich International Cello Competition, will make her Singapore debut with Hadyn's C major Cello Concerto at this Singapore Symphony Orchestra concert, where she will direct the orchestra from the cello. She will also take the podium for Prokofiev's witty Symphony No. 5.

THE IMPENDING STORM - THE SILLY LITTLE GIRL AND THE FUNNY OLD TREE

This play featuring Taiwanese guest director, Fu Hong Zheng, which is based on an original script by late theatre doyen Kuo Pao Kun, has been tweaked so that the Old Tree symbolises the elderly in today's society.

Inspired by the original version of Dear Nobody, this play focuses on the consequences of pre-marital sex and the subsequent impact on the lives of those involved. This cabaret concert from Malaysia which features three women - an Australian, a Malay and an Indian - is about relationships, dreams, desires, travels and the heart.
